“I know God won't give me anything I can't handle. I just wish he didn't trust me so much.”
Mother Teresa

Holy Week is a time we, Roman Catholics, dedicate not only to remember how our Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins but also for our heart’s repentance. Each year, we both practice the Visita Iglesia (Spanish: Church Visit) wherein we visit seven or fourteen churches or religious sites. Though it is traditionally observed on a Maundy Thursday, it is now commonly practiced during any day of the Holy Week.

In our country, it has been a general tradition to visit 7 churches either on Maundy Thursday or Good Friday in which people recite the Stations of the Cross. However, the pious would double the number visiting 14 churches instead of 7.
