Yesterday marked our little Zachy’s very first visit to a pet grooming salon which we already planned a long time ago. Agreeing to meet at exactly 10 in the morning infront of Pet Express at SM North EDSA, we were hoping that we would be the first ones in line for their grooming services. When we arrived, we were baffled at the sight of 10 dogs with their owners already lining up inside the store. Since we did not want to spoil Zach’s excitement for his first visit, we just agreed to wait patiently. Zach was 9th (full grooming service) and Zoey was 4th (‘ala carte’ service – shampoo and blow-dry). Zoey’s shampoo and blow-dry was something that we got free via a Belle de Jour coupon that we have. Though they finished at around 3:30 PM which was a 5-hour wait, we think that it was all worth it as we saw how meticulous and careful the groomer was in making our little boy look really gwapo and pogi. Zach was a bit shaky and uncomfortable after with his new look but we’re pretty sure he’ll get used to it. PROUD DADDIES! MBA

The famous tandem of Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro is back in the third and final installment of the Sarah-John Lloyd movie, It Takes A Man and A Woman. The movie is expected to replicate the success of their previous movies A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life which are considered to be among the highest grossing films in the history of Philippine cinema. It is set to be released on March 30, 2013.

Yesterday, we decided to give Tokyo Bubble Tea Milk Tea Place & Restaurant at SM North Edsa The Block a try since we were craving for some milk tea. We ordered their Strawberry and Taro Milk Teas.
From the two that we ordered, we personally loved the later because it just had the right amount of sweetness and that real taro flavor that we were looking for. What we really found cute though was the fact that they serve their milk teas not in that signature plastic cups that tea shops have but in a beer mug! Bubble Tea offers not only milk teas but some authentic Japanese food as well. MBA

The Chocolate Kiss Café or ChoKiss is the most popular restaurant/cafe inside the UP Diliman campus. They offer a wide variety on their menu, ranging from Asian to American cuisine that customers will surely have a hard time choosing from because everything sounds delicious! What we frequently order though is their Chix-in-a-Basket because it is good for sharing. We also love their Devil’s Foodcake which has a bittersweet cake covered with scrumptious marshmallow frosting. It’s really a must try. Have a chocolate kiss today!
If we are to describe the food that they serve customers at Banapple in a sentence, it would be that their servings are ample enough to satisfy two not so hungry tummies at a very reasonable price. Banapple is actually one of our favorite places to dine in, from our all-time favorite Chicken Parmigiana to their Myster-reese’s Wicked Pie and Banoffee Pie that we really love. We’re pretty sure that their other offerings are worth the try as well. But what we really love and keep coming back to is their good service and that fancy ‘homey’ feel that the restaurant offers its customers.
Haven't visited them yet? Banapple Pies & Cheesecakes is really a destination on our list that foodies like us must try! You can check out their website at www.banapplekitchen.com to know more about their menu.
